Laura Saksing experience

The clinical case that I presented for my Master’s thesis was of a patient who came to my attention in July 2013. This is a beautiful case because of it’s value for my professional development. It is a nice feeling when, using treatment methods and techniques previously described by evidence based medicine, you see after a follow-up of 6 months, 1 year, that these things really work.

As once a wise man said, that in order to confirm, that a treatment modality is predictable, it should not only work in the hands of professionals with years of experience, but also in the mind and hands of a young colleague who has just started her training.

This clinical case along with many others I had during my 2 years of Master’s studies helped me to become aware of problems of oral health, that previously had been hidden for me.
