On March 13, Professor Aimetti was invited to hold a Course in Periodontology for post-graduate students of the University of Izmir, in Turkey.
With a great interest and enthusiam by all the participants, the focus was the treatment of patients with severe periodontitis and in particular the new strategies in the non-surgical periodontal therapy, diagnosis and treatment plan, surgical management of periodontal defects and supportive therapy were widely discussed.
The meeting was very satisfactory and created new opportunities to develop international collaborations between the University of Turin and the University of Izmir in terms of didactics and research under the coordination of Prof. Nurcan Buduneli.
