Clinical case – Dr. Fratini

The starting point of my scientific and professional development is the clinical case I showed at the final examination of the Master in Periodontology. The pivotal elements of my on-going professional growth are persistent scientific research, a dedicated approach to the study of all clinical cases and attentive care for technical details. As Professor Aimetti teaches us, “it’s the combination of the individual parts that makes a real difference”.

The patient, 40 years old, suffered from generalized chronic periodontitis. After etiological therapy, he also underwent surgical therapy.

During one session I performed osseous resective (1.5, 1.6, 1.7) and regenerative surgery using Enamel Matrix Derivates (1.4) for the comprensive treatment of the first quadrant.
