The Periodontics ward consists of five standard operating rooms and one operating theatre. Each operating room is equipped with a dental treatment unit, a scaler and a computer work station. The radiographic equipment used to produce the intraoral X-ray images is located in two operating rooms. The operating theatre is equipped with a dental treatment unit, a computer work station, a surgery microscope and two video cameras used to video the operations.
Moreover, we have an operating room available once a week, at the Medicine Ward of the “Molinette” Hospital in Turin.
Our collaboration with the Prosthesis Department of the Dental School has allowed us to have one further operating room available once a week (this room is intended only for the students who following the full-time training course).
